WHO IS ANGELINA?

Hi I’m Angelina! I’m a New Yorker living in Cairns, Australia, living my best life next to the Great Barrier Reef. I’m in love with scuba diving and moved to Australia so I could pursue my dream of becoming an underwater photographer. Five years later I’m settled in Cairns, living with my partner Tony and started a business as an underwater photographer.

I love dancing, when I need a break from work you will find me on the dance floor making friends with strangers. My Spotify playlist is filled with dance music and I’ll always love early 2000s throwbacks! My favorite tv show is How I Met Your Mother and you will definitely want me on your team for HIMYM trivia. I’ve seriously watched every episode countless times.

So how did a girl from New York get into underwater photography? It took me years of traveling and working office jobs to figure out the water is where I want to be. But once I came to Australia and tried underwater photography, I knew right away this is what I was meant to do. I’ve been an underwater photographer for 5 years working on the Great Barrier Reef. Now I am going out on my own and I’d love to take your photo underwater. There is something ethereal about getting an underwater portrait of yourself. Step outside of the box and let me capture your essence in a way no one has before.

I love shooting underwater because the creative possibilities are endless. It’s always fun no matter if I am photographing a maternity session, a kids birthday party or a family on the Great Barrier Reef. Seeing the joy that my photography brings people is priceless, it’s a feeling I truly love. So if you want a fun, unique photoshoot send me an email and we will work together to create art you will love!

In case you didn’t know, I also have a collection of beautiful photographs from the Great Barrier Reef. If you have just taken a trip to the reef and are looking for a momento check out my website here and browse my collection of wall art for your home. Thank you for visiting my site and remember I’m always available to chat if you have any questions!
